BSNL Unveils Pan India Offers For Mobile Number Portability

India’s National Telecom back bone and pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) all set to launch Nation Wide Mobile Number Portability by 20 January.The PSU today unveils its Pan-India MNP offer, which will give Free Connection, Free Mobile Internet and lots more for all Port-in customers who Switch to BSNL from any other service providers across all the telecom circles except Haryana.
The much awaited Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service schedule to launch by 20 January on Pan-India basis as earlier we hare on TelecomTalk. BSNL To Enhance 3G Mobile and Broadband Services In Tamilnadu

In its endeavour to improve the quality next generation communication services, National Telecom backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is all set to enhance and upgrade its existing telecom infra in Chennai and Tamilnadu telecom circle.Mr. Sachin Pilot, the Union Minister of State for Telecommunications reviewed performance of BSNL Tamil Nadu and Chennai circles. The operator also launches “Pongal Bonanza” wherein its 2G and 3G mobile subscribers will get Full Talk Value on selected Top-Ups starting from Rs. 55. The offer will be valid up to 18 January 2011.

BSNL Renovate Its 2G and 3G Postpaid Mobile Service Plans

The new plans will be effective from 1st Janurary 2011.BSNL has exciting range of 2G and 3G Postpaid Tariff plans starting from Rs. 99/month. The revised plans are Plan-99, Plan-175, Plan-225, Plan-325, Plan-525, Plan-725 and Plan-1500.
The Plan 1500 offers Unlimited Free B2B Local, STD and Roaming calls , lowest Local Off net calls as low as 20p, Off Net STD Calls as low as 30p, SMS and GPRS/3G tariff.

BSNL Launches FRC51 for Prepaid 3G Data Card Subscribers

Pan India 3G GSM Mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) revised its existing 3G data card FRC of Rs. 326 and announced the launch of revised First Recharge Coupon (FRC) of Rs. 51 for prepaid 3G Data service customers who purchase the Data Card from BSNL in Tamilnadu circle.The FRC51 comes with account validity of 180 days and offers 2 GB data credit for the first 60 days of activation. If this FREE DATA usage is exhausted within 60 days from the date of activation, the customer can use a Data top-up voucher of MRP Rs. 197 (500MB FREE Data usage) or has to use regular Data TOP Ups of minimum value of Rs. 50 to his main account to browse the Internet further.
Data charges beyond the FREE usage will be deducted 1p/10KB from the main account during the remaining period of DATA RCV validity. Read more…
No Discounts On Calls And SMS on Dec 31, Jan 1 On BSNL

India’s National Telecom back bone and pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced that the concessional voice calls/SMS by using any Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) are not made available to customers on New Year Eve 31.12.2010 and New Year day 01.01.2011 for its GSM subscribers.To provide smooth network without any congestion for Voice Calls and SMS on 31st December and 1st January the New year day, BSNL Tamilnadu circle announced that all the 2G/3G STV or plans are offered with initial freebies and monthly freebies on voice and SMS will not be available or applicable on New Year Eve and New year Day. The concessional voice calls/SMS will be charged on these days.

BSNL Now Officially In Twitter and Facebook

After Tata Docomo, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Mobile, Idea Cellular, Tata Indicom and Aircel, finally state run Pan India 3G Mobile Service Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) joined the bandwagon of social networking sites and has come up with its own official Twitter and Facebook account.BSNL’s Twitter account (3G Live) was active from 16th Sept 2010 and FaceBook account was created on 4 October 2010 but officially announced by today as their corporate website (bsnl.co.in) start to mention FaceBook and Twitter handle link on home page.

BSNL Sweeps National Energy Conservation Awards

Of India’s Ministry of Power has conferred four National Energy conservation awards to National Telecom Backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).The first prize for the year 2010 was awarded to BSNL Telecom Bhawan Medical college Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala.
